Last week, the number of new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnosed in Estonia was above 1,000 for the first time and was almost double the previous week's total cases. There were several new records set and three deaths were reported.

ERR News: PPA: Wearing a reflector saves lives in winter

The Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) are reminding pedestrians to wear reflectors now that evenings are getting darker and visibility is reduced for drivers. Wearing a reflector (helkur) is mandatory in Estonia during winter.

ERR News: Development work to make Estonia’s covid app cross-border starts next month

Earlier this week it was announced that Latvia's coronavirus app now works on a Europe-wide level. Work to make Estonia's HOIA app compatible with other devices will start in December.

Last week, the total number of new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnosed in Estonia was 618, a significant increase from 343 the week before. The record for new cases on a single day was broken twice and this is the highest amount of new cases diagnosed in a week so far.

ERR News: Tallinn City Center aims to improve English communication with new arrivals
