I’m an English journalist usually based in Tallinn, Estonia. Since August 2019, I’ve worked as an editor and journalist at ERR News, the English language website of Estonian Public Broadcasting.

I have reported from England, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Mongolia. My work has been published by the BBC, POLITICO Europe, the UNHCR, Deutsche Welle, Eurasianet, the Baltic Times, the UB Post, Estonian World, Deep Baltic, and others.

I have masters degrees from the University of Tartu (political science: Baltic Sea region studies) and Birmingham City University (data journalism).
